Our Homemade Bug Repellent - To Make You Will Need * Essential oils: choose from Rosemary, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Lavender and Citronella. * Natural Witch Hazel * Distilled (or boiled water) To make: Fill a 100ml spray bottle, 1/2 full with distilled or boiled water. Add witch hazel to fill almost to the top. Add 30 drops of your chosen essential oils, adding more if you wish for a stronger spray. Our favourite mix is a 1:1 ratio of Rosemary, Citronella and Peppermint… it works great and smells good too!
the safest way to use a essential oil is inhalation -add a few drops of you chosen oil/oils to water in a oil burner this will also scent the whole room and enabling everyone in the room to feel the positive effects of the oil

studies have show that essential oils can be detected in the mouth, 20 min after they have been applied to the feet, WOW how strong is that!!! babies & children have thinner skin than adults, never apply a undiluted essential oils to their skin if you have not done your research , there are also oils that are not safe for children
certain oils should be avoided if you are pregnant,- do not use at all in the first trimester
as a final note all DEATHS associated with using essential oils have been from ingesting the oil internally a good rule with all things if in doubt leave it out!
